Hello,

This is yet another blog about the rants of a middle class worker.     I’m hoping enough people read and comment about these things to either help change the world or at least know your not alone.

First,  why am I doing this?

I am an Information Technology (IT) worker that has been in the business for almost 20 years.   I have seen ups and downs.     The downs now out weigh the ups.    We have continuously seen our jobs sent overseas.   We have seen major businesses take record profits and make record layoffs.   We have seen CEO’s earn more and more and the common worker less and less.   I’m frankly pretty irritated by it.

I have been one of those people have lost their house due to corporate greed.    I’ve heard every off handed comment about me not manging my money or being stupid about signing the loan papers.   You name it, I’ve heard it.    There is a shread of truth to all of it, but never the whole truth or the acurate truth.   When I get sick I go to the Doctors.  When I need a car fixed I go to a repair man.  When I need money I go to a bank.   You expected to get straight info but you don’t.    I’m pretty sick of that too.

I have kids.   Every year my salary gets lower and expenses go up.    We have cut back on just about everything.  Which everyone else is doing the same thing.    The end result of that is more layoffs when sales drop.    I’m sick of that too.

These are my opinions.   I try to remove names if possible.  I do not state all of this as fact.   Do you own checking and see if you agree.

My goal is to point out stupidity and maybe help educate people.   We’ll see where this goes in the coming days.
